Move Out Information
Please keep in mind that while on-campus hall/apartment opening dates are fairly universal for all undergraduate students, move-out dates are governed by your final exams. Students MUST vacate their rooms 24 hours after their last exam. Permission to stay longer than 24 hours after a student’s last exam must be approved by the student’s Residence Hall Director or for residents of Clairmont Campus, via a LearnLink Conference entitled CC Stay Late Requests. The Office of Residence Life & Housing does not endorse any company to assist students in their shipping and/or storage needs. Though the Atlanta metropolitan area has numerous companies in which to choose this service from, listed below is a small sampling of companies that may meet the needs for students. Please keep in mind, the Office of Residence Life & Housing, nor Emory University, will not accept responsibility for the relationship that is established between any of the listed companies and students who choose to contract services. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure any companies contracted follow all Emory University regulations, including traffic and parking, while on campus. Also, due to space constraints, and fire and life safety issues, mobile storage units, or PODS, are NOT permitted to be placed on campus (including Clairmont Campus). The UPS Store :: Offers pick-up from residence halls for climate controlled storage and shipping via UPS. Storage items will be delivered back to the student's new address in the fall. The UPS Store also sells boxes and packing materials. 2107 N.
