For Audio-visual services in the Penthouse (1831 Tower) and the Clocktower Commons (Plaza level, Bldg D), please contact the Emory University Audio-Visual Services department or bring your own equipment.

The Courtyard Commons room (Plaza level, Bldg H) is equipped with a data projector, DVD player, TV/VCR, overhead projection camera, cable TV, and multimedia connections for a laptop computer. There is not a computer present in the room, nor can the Office of Residence Life & Housing provide one. In addition to the rental fees for the Courtyard Commons, there is a charge of $75 to use this equipment.

If you choose to reserve this equipment, there is a mandatory training session with Residence Life & Housing personnel, which must take place no less than 3 days prior to the event. Failure to schedule and attend this session will result in a cancellation of the reservation of the technical equipment. At your training session, you will receive a password which will enable you to access the equipment. Please contact the Clairmont Campus Community Office at 404-727-8830 to schedule a technical training session with one of our staff members.

If you would like a Residence Life & Housing tech to meet you at your event, there is an additional $25 set up fee. The tech will meet you 30 minutes before your event and will set up your equipment. He or she will NOT stay for the event itself to run your equipment. Residence Life & Housing can supply a tech to attend your event and run your equipment at a cost of $15 per hour. If you request a Residence Life & Housing tech to assist you with set-up or for the duration of your event, this must be scheduled 14 days in advance of your event. In addition, you may be required to alter the date or time of your event in order to work within the tech staff’s schedules.
