The Academic Adviors provide academic guidance to sophomores through various programs throughout the year and hold office hours in the drop-in office located in the main lobby of Woodruff Residential Center. Students generally visit with the advisor(s) for help with course scheduling, withdrawals, choosing a major, and career/post-graduation plans.

The live-in academic advisor is a full-time doctoral student who serves as the liaison between SYE and the Office for Undergraduate Education. S/he resides in Woodruff Residential Center.
