The live-in Academic Advisor is a full-time doctoral student who serves as the liaison between SYE and the Office for Undergraduate Education.
 
The advisor provides academic counseling services to sophomores, especially those students living in Woodruff Residential Center through various programs throughout the year and through office hours in the drop-in office located in the main lobby of the building.  Students generally visit with the advisor for help with their course schedule, withdrawals, choosing a major, as well as career and post-graduation plans.
