The richness of the Emory experience is reflected by the diversity
of the student population. Students are given opportunities to
learn about different cultures and experience those similar to
and different from themselves. Programming involves experiential
learning activities and simulations; using media and video to
promote learning and appreciation; and taking advantage of the
Atlanta’s historical heritage.

Sundaes on Mondays
A monthly program created to facilitate respectful, informed
discussion about diversity and what it means to be part of
a diverse society and a diverse college campus. SYE provides
ice cream and the fixings for sundaes in order to promote the
program.
