SYE registration forms are available online now and are due by February 8, 2008. Registration forms received after that date will be accepted but may not be considered. All rising second-year students must also complete the online housing application in order to be eligible for campus housingin this program.

Admission to the SYE program is rolling, but all participants can verify their acceptance up through February 13, 2008. After completing the housing application and registration, students may look under the personal preference section of their MyHousing page, under "Supplemental Application Information", to confirm that their SYE registration has been received; confirmations will be posted every Friday starting January 25, 2008 through February 8, 2008.

If you have completed a registration and do not see this information under the supplemental application information on your MyHousing page, as of February 8, 2008, please contact sye@learnlink.emory.edu immediately.

Block Housing

The first selection process for Woodruff and Clifton Tower will be Block Housing. There is a limited number of spaces available for SYE Block Housing. It is possible that the process will close before all registered blocks are accommodated; please factor this into your plans. Spaces will be available on the first floor of Clifton Tower and on the Woodruff curve only.

Students may sign up for blocks of rooms within designated buildings in groups of 8 or 12 students only. Blocks may include a combination of men and women. However, a minimum of four students of each gender must be maintained. You are only permitted to live with students of your same gender in a room, suite, or apartment. Only double rooms (no singles or supersingles) are available in Block Housing.

SYE Block housing will take place at Woodruff Hall in the wRec room on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Block Captains will be emailed with their block's specific start time, and any additional information, on Wednesday, February 13, 2008.

SYE Housing Selection

Any rising second-year student who has not selected a room or been pulled into a space in another process and is interested in living in Woodruff or Clifton Tower should participate in this process to select a room. SYE housing selection will follow the regular process and procedures outlined on the selection website.

Please note the following important dates:
February 8, 2008 | SYE registration and housing applications must be completed
February 13, 2008 | Selection start dates and times posted to student's MyHousing page
February 20, 2008 | SYE online selection begins; please be sure to check your MyHousing page for your specific start date and time
February 22, 2008 | SYE online selection ends at noon

As with any other process, it is possible that not all students wishing to live in Woodruff or Clifton will be able to secure a space during this process; please factor this into your plans.
