Community service and civic engagement are essential components of personal development and individual discovery. In the coming year we hope that all Second-Year students at Emory will take advantage of the many opportunities to volunteer with and contribute to the mission of one of Atlanta’s numerous community organizations. To assist you in this, SYE has teamed up with Volunteer Emory to bring you the Sophomores Serve program on Saturday, September 1. Starting with various opportunities to involve yourself in service projects during the first week back on campus and continuing with sustained programs and involvement through the year, we hope to offer all students the chance to connect with the greater Atlanta community.

We will be providing transportation to and from the projects, as well as providing volunteers with a free lunch and water throughout the day.
