"SYE provides a variety of resources for sophomores from study tips
to having dinner with faculty, all in the comfort of my own dorm, Woodruff.
It is helpful to have the option to attend events related to sophomores such
as the study abroad event because they help us plan future semesters at Emory.
In addition to educational related programs, SYE offers a way for sophomores
to connect through its social programs."

“I think the SYE is a great way of focusing more attention on sophomores.
I enjoyed listening to Emory seniors talk about their college experiences
and ways to become more involved in the university. I also thought the Career
Center's informational about Internships was very helpful.”

“Second Year at Emory has put on a number of different seminars that
have opened my mind to certain career paths, extracurricular activities,
and other valuable services offered at Emory. The program has brought the
main campus to our own dormitory, in order for us to learn more about study
abroad, different majors, the pre-health field, and much more. SYE is a new
and innovative program with the goal of bridging the gap between the freshman
and junior year. Hopefully, as it has more room to grow in future years,
it will be successful in bringing the sophomore class together.”
