In order to provide a unifying orientation experience for first-year students and their parents on Saturday August 25, 2012, a very limited number of early arrivals will be allowed. Early arrivals who will be allowed access include new incoming international students with limited flight and visa options from their home country who are participating in International Student Orientation, Orientation Leaders, and student-athletes participating in required activities for their fall sport. 
 
Names of students who are participating in approved pre-opening programs will be submitted to the Office of Residence Life & Housing by that program’s sponsor. Questions regarding inclusion on the list, dates, times, etc. should be directed to the program advisor/sponsor. Students whose names have been submitted for early arrival will be emailed a confirmation of their early arrival status on July 31st.  If you do not receive an email from Residence Life & Housing confirming your early arrival status, please contact your program advisor/sponsor.
 
First-year students may begin to move into the residence halls at their assigned times on Saturday, August 25, 2012, while other students may arrive starting Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. Please make your travel plans based on these dates.
