Parking & Transportation
Parking is available to upperclass students and upperclass residents of University housing. First-year students are not allowed to have cars on campus at Emory. Some residence halls have designated parking areas, while residents of other halls may park in on-campus parking decks. Any car driven on campus at any time must be registered with the Emory Parking Office. This includes student vehicles at Clairmont Campus. All questions regarding parking can be directed to the Emory Office of Transportation and Parking:
Car Registration and Driver's License Information Automotive tags are distributed according to county of residence. Current registration, title or the name and address of any lien holders, proof of insurance, and an emissions certificate are required. The fee is $8.00 plus the impact fee (a prorated percentage of the car's value). You must pay with cash or a local check. Call the location in your county for hours of operation and further details.
