Room Condition Forms
Residence Life staff members inspect each room prior to residents' arrival to ensure rooms are move-in ready. The inspection notes any maintenance issues, furniture problems, and normal wear and tear. We ask residents, upon your check in, to also inspect your rooms. Residents are responsible to report any wear and tear or existing issues in their rooms through the online Room Condition Form. By noting items, staff members will be able to more accurately assess damage billing when you checkout. Damages that are found upon your check out, but not noted on your RCF from your move in, will be billed to you. (Details about damage assessment may be found here.) Here are some areas/items to keep in mind when conducting your own inspection: Bedroom
Bathroom
Living Room/Kitchen
If you find your room is in acceptable condition, no action is necessary; do not fill out the Room Condition Form. If you find items to note, please fill out the appropriate Room Condition Form; links will open in a new page:
If you feel an item needs immediate attention at move in:
If issues arise during the academic year, you may submit a maintenance work order through your MyHousing page.
