The Students' Program for International Cultural Exchange (SPICE) is Emory's first thematic residence hall program. SPICE is a coed, multicultural program that includes both International and American students interested in learning about other cultures. It is open to upperclass undergraduate students.
Students participating in the SPICE program develop strong friendships and genuine respect for other people and other cultures. By learning about each other, they learn more about the world in which they live. SPICE is a diverse, yet close knit community.

Candidates for the program must fill out an application form and be interviewed by a SPICE selection committee. Residents are expected to participate regularly in SPICE programs. Each resident must sponsor at least one program during the year, participate in the cooperative dinners, and attend residence hall meetings as scheduled by the SPICE Resident Assistant.
