About Summer Programs at Emory

Thank you for your interest in summer on-campus housing. Students can only be housed on campus if they are enrolled in classes in an Emory summer program. All summer school students are housed in Tower apartments only.

If you are in Atlanta for a summer internship or some other academically-related pursuit, please refer to our Summer Intern Housing website. All SIHP residents are housed in URC/CRC apartments only.

Maymester
Maymester, a three-week term immediately following graduation, offers Emory undergraduates and visiting students the opportunity to engage in intensive academic courses and to earn three or four credit hours. Maymester courses take full advantage of the condensed term, offering students an opportunity to explore and experience academic subject matter in ways that may not be available during traditional terms.

Maymester will run May 9-26, 2017. Summer students in Maymester will be assigned to Clairmont Tower, situated at Clairmont Campus. Apartments are either one-, two-, or three-bedroom; rooms may be doubles or supersingles. Click here for summer housing rates.

Maymester students may begin moving inat 10am on Sunday, May 8, 2017. Check out is by 12 noon on May 27, 2017.

Current students may request interim housing for the dates in between Spring move out and the start of Maymester. There will be a flat rate charged for each of the interim housing time periods. Those who request interim housing must be able to move on the designated move dates. Interim housing is only available to those who have and will maintain a summer housing assignment. To request interim housing, please complete the interim housing request form no later than April 15, 2016. Requests received after the deadline may not be approved. you must be able to move in on the date indicated. You may be asked to move before or after that date depending upon room availability. Please note that your interim assignment may not be the same as your summer assignment.

MD-SEE
The MD Summer Experience at Emory (MD-SEE), a six-week course in neurology, offers students clinical experience, classroom guidance on presentations, and a vigorous look at current issues and practices in medicine.

MD-SEE will run May 15 - June 23, 2017. Students participating in MD-SEE who choose to live on campus will be assigned to Clairmont Tower, situated at Clairmont Campus. Apartments are either one-, two-, or three-bedroom; rooms may be doubles or supersingles. Click here for summer housing rates.

MD-SEE students may begin checking in at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Check out is by 12 noon on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

Summer Business Institute
The Summer Business Institute, offered by the Goizueta Business School is for undergraduate students who would like to develop management knowledge as they may apply to their current areas of study.

The Summer Business Institute will run May 11 - June 1, 2017. SBI students choosing to reside on campus will be assigned to a one-, two-, or three-bedroom apartment in Clairmont Tower. Click here for summer housing rates.

SBI students may begin moving in at 10am on Wednesday May 10, 2017. Check out is by noon on June 2, 2017.

Current students may request interim housing for the dates in between Spring move out and the start of SBI. There will be a flat rate charged for each of the interim housing time periods. Those who request interim housing must be able to move on the designated move dates. Interim housing is only available to those who have and will maintain a summer housing assignment. To request interim housing, please complete the interim housing request form no later than April 15, 2016.
