Once you check-in to your summer school assignment, please utilize the electronic Room Condition Report to note any pre-existing issues with the condition of your room.
Residence Life & Housing takes pride in providing you with a fully furnished space that is safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff members have inspected your space prior to your arrival. This inspection noted any maintenance issues, furniture problems, and normal wear & tear. Please let us know if anything is missing, in need of cleaning or immediate repair upon your arrival.
We encourage you to also inspect the room upon your arrival. It is your responsibility, as the resident of the room, to note wear & tear or previously existing issues in your room. You may document items via an electronic Room Condition Report.
If the condition of your room is acceptable at occupancy there is no need to update the Room Condition Form. You have 72 hours from your check-in date to amend the Room Condition Report.
Please know that you will be held financially responsible for any damage caused to the room. If you have any questions regarding damage assessment, please visit the housing damages webpage.
If you feel an item needs immediate attention when you move-in:
1) Contact a Residence Life Staff Member to let them know of the issue.
2) At the Clairmont Campus, students may also check with the Clairmont Community Office in HP01. The office is open 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
