Korean Culture Night

Saturday April 14, 2007 from 6 pm to 8 pm, at Glenn Memorial Church of Emory University

Invitation from Eugene Son, President | Korean Undergraduate Students Association

Dear Invitee,

Today, I am writing on behalf of the Korean Undergraduate Student Association at Emory University in hopes that you will accept an invitation to attend our fourth annual Korean Culture Night (KCN). This year, KCN is scheduled to be held on Saturday April 14, 2007 from 6 pm to 8 pm, at Glenn Memorial Church of Emory University. The event is co-sponsored by several of Emory's notable organizations, including International Student and Scholar Programs (ISSP), Office of Multicultural Programs and Services (OMPS), and many generous businesses of the Greater Atlanta Area.

As the very name suggests, Korean Culture Night is a large-scale celebration of Korean culture that not only showcases a variety of traditional Korean customs, but also modern pop culture. Last year, we were honored to have James T. Laney, the former Emory University President and U.S. Ambassador to Korea, as the keynote speaker and a special appearance made by the Korean Consulate-General, Kwang-Jae Lee, in addition to these performances. The show will be followed by a large reception in the Glenn Memorial Church School Building with a variety of traditional Korean food.

I can assure you that this year's KCN will be one of the most spectacular and memorable nights at Emory. We sincerely hope that you will accept our invitation to attend. Thank you for taking the time to read about one of our most important events of the year and we look forward to see you.

Sincerely,

Eugene Son
