ATTENTION CHINESE STUDENTS AND STUDENTS WHO ARE LEARNING CHINESE!

Elsy Belina, a senior at Emory, has always been interested in the Chinese language and culture and she has always wanted more opportunities to practice her Chinese language skills.

With this goal in mind, Elsy set up a language partner program this past fall where students who are studying Chinese could partner with a Chinese native speaker to practice their Chinese skills. At the same time, non-native English speakers could also practice their English language skills with native English speakers!

For the SPRING 2009 semester, she once again plans to continue gathering a list of interested students and can pair interested parties up with other students. After the initial pairing, it is up to both individuals to set up meeting times, etc. Besides being able to practice your language skills, you can also make more friends!
