RESOURCES ONLINE AND AT ISSP
Welcome Jocelyn Johnson, ISSP's New Receptionist!Jocelyn was born three months premature, to her family’s surprise, on a cold night in Chicago IL. Weighing only two pounds at birth, she has had a very determined spirit to thrive ever since. Jocelyn grew up in a close-knit family, where they encouraged her to excel in school and to be creative. “I was always trying to dance and sing because I loved to perform, but you couldn’t pay me to give a speech.” She was so shy that even after she received a scholarship to Emory University, after high school, her family didn’t think she would move so far away from home. However, she fell in love with Atlanta and Emory and has no plans to leave anytime soon. Needless to say her shy days are over. After graduating from Emory with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, she decided to explore different careers, but decided that her main goal would always be to help and work with people. She loves working with the students and really enjoys learning about Emory from a staff perspective. Jocelyn is also a blossoming singer and songwriter and performs at various locations throughout the Atlanta area. Jocelyn says:” I am in a good place right now. I have two jobs that I love. I get to meet and work with different types of people in the office and on stage.“ Please join us in welcoming Jocelyn! |
