ISSP would like to welcome Terra Martin as our newest International Scholar Advisor.

Terra comes to Emory from Eastern Illinois University where she was the Assistant Director for the Office of Civil Rights and Diversity. In the Office of Civil Rights, she worked on Equal Opportunity investigations, monitored hiring practices, kept affirmative action statistics and was responsible for immigration matters related to international faculty and staff.

Terra earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her law degree from Indiana University-Indianapolis. She is excited to work with the International community at Emory University and to assist them in their immigration matters.

Having now relocated to Atlanta, Terra is looking forward to living and working in a warmer climate and having the advantages that living in a large city provides. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, reading, and hanging out with her Golden Retriever, Buttercup.
