SPICE HALL 2008-2009 Recruitment Complete

ISSP’s theme hall, SPICE HALL (Student Program in International Cultural Exchange), has selected 16 residents for the year 2008-2009. All residents were selected through an application and interview process, and have agreed to commit to regular intercultural projects with fellow SPICE residents, in addition to social and educational programming. We are very excited to announce that we will have a representation of 10 different countries this coming 2008-2009 academic year! The residents selected, a mix of U.S. and international students, also include CIPA international exchange students who are visiting the U.S., Emory University, for a semester or academic year.

SPICE was the first theme house established at Emory University in 1983 as has been, ever since, running programs to link students with a common interest in cultural interaction. SPICE encourages mutual understanding and cross-cultural friendship on a daily basis. It offers the residents a place to learn about one another and build a multi-cultural community outside the classroom.
