A TN1 employee traveling outside the U.S. should be certain to have all necessary documents for entry into all countries he or she intends to visit and for re-entry into the U.S. While neither a passport nor visa is required for Canadian citizens as defined in this document, a passport is required when entering the U.S. from outside the Western Hemisphere. TN1 employees should also have evidence that they are currently employed, such as a letter from their employing department at Emory University.
