HANDBOOK FOR INT'L STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS
The matter of timeBeing on time is very important in U.S. American society. Classes, plays, concerts, public meetings, weddings, and formal dinners begin as scheduled, as do most worship services. Family dinners are a little more flexible and informal, but you should still try to be punctual. A cocktail party, reception, or outdoor party is less formal and may be attended anytime during the appointed hours. |
