Mobile Repair Center

You decide to take your bike out for a spin and as you’re riding across campus, trying to get to work/class on time, your bike chain breaks! Now what? Bike Emory and Bicycle South have teamed up to provide a mobile repair center at two locations on campus, twice a week. Walk, carry or otherwise move your bike to the repair center. Flat tires and minor adjustments can be handled while you wait. Need something more in depth or want a full tune-up? Drop you bike off on Wednesday and come back on Friday when the Mobile Repair Center is back on campus and pick up your two wheels.

The prices are reasonable, the service is fast and most importantly, it’s really easy. Emory Cards, credit cards and checks are accepted payment methods for onsite service. You also have the option to pick up your repaired bike from Bicycle South too. The mobile repair center is located in front of the Dobbs University Center (you know it as the DUC) and in front of the Student Athletic and Academic Center (commonly called the SAAC), on Clairmont Campus.

Here’s the schedule for both locations (weather permitting):

  • Wednesdays and Fridays at the DUC from 11:30AM until 1:30PM and the SAAC from 4PM until 5:30PM.

For more information visit the Mobile Repair Center.

Bike Share

So maybe it’s not practical for you to cycle to campus, but instead of driving (and finding parking) you’d still like to bike around campus once you’re here – The Bike Emory Bike Share program is for you. Bike Emory, in conjunction with Fuji Bikes and Bicycle South, is supplying bikes at select bike share locations around campus. If you want to get across campus quickly, simply sign out the bike at one of the locations and return it to any bike share location on campus. Bikes are for daily use only and cannot be kept overnight. There is no charge to check out bikes. To learn more visit Emory's Bike Share page.
