In addition to the services stated in section "Services", ISSP also offers several programs for students and scholars to enhance their personal growth and development, to help them learn more about the cultures of the United States, to facilitate interaction with U.S. students, and to share their cultures with the Emory and Atlanta communities.

Other programs are offered in a timely manner to meet an immediate need or to increase cross-cultural awareness and understanding.

International Student and Scholar Programs also works with U.S. American students, faculty and staff; local community members and organizations; and U.S. and foreign government agencies to form constructive relationships between foreign students and scholars and their U.S. hosts. We believe in the transformative value of international educational exchange as it advances learning and scholarship, builds respect among different peoples, and encourages constructive leadership in a global community.
