Keeping Children Safe

There are a number of laws to protect children. For example, it is against the law to leave small children at home alone. Children under 4 must use a car seat when traveling my car. Information on car seats is available at 1-800-575-7328. Always place a car seat in the back seat of the car, never in the front. Keep medications and cleaning products out of reach. You can buy child-proof locks for cabinets at Home Depot and other stores. If you think your child has ingested something dangerous, call the Poison Control Center at 1-800-343-2722.
