There are many different types of stores and malls available in the Emory/Atlanta area. Nearby shopping malls are Northlake Mall (LaVista and Briarcliff Rd/I-285) and North DeKalb Mall (North Druid Hills and Lawrenceville Hwy), both are serviced by Emory Shuttles. More upscale locations are Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square (Peachtree Rd/Lenox Rd) and Perimeter Mall (Ashford-Dunwoody Rd), both on the MARTA rail line.

• Groceries: Kroger and Publix are two large grocery stores, with locations nearby at Sage Hills (Briarcliff Rd), Toco Hills, and N. Decatur Road. All these locations are accessible via MARTA buses and Emory Cliff Shuttles.
• Clothing: Marshall's and T.J. Maxx are discount clothing stores
• International Food/Goods: The DeKalb Farmer's Market (3000 East Ponce) in Decatur has many international foods, wines, meats, cheeses, breads, and inexpensive produce. Take MARTA bus 8 or 120 from the Avondale Station.
