When will I receive information concerning the Freshmen Crossroads Retreat?
Brochures for the retreat are sent out to incoming freshmen students in early June in a packet sent to all freshmen. Please allow time for these brochures to arrive. The deadline for the retreat registration is July 2nd, 2008. Information is posted at the website:

It is June 10th and I have yet to receive any information. What should I do?
Don't worry. The retreat application is available on this website. To register for the retreat, download and return the registration form and a $25 check to the Office of Multicultural Programs and Services by July 2nd.

When will I know about my acceptance into the Freshmen Crossroads retreat?
Registration is limited due to space constraints. Participants will be chosen on a first-come, first served basis. Acceptance letters and e-mails will be sent to all student participants in mid-July. Those not accepted in the retreat will receive email notices.
Where do I register for Early Arrival?
Once accepted to the retreat, we will submit the needed information to residence life to ensure that you are registered for Early Arrival. If we need more information from you, we will contact you directly. If you decide not to attend the retreat after being accepted, you will not be eligible for Early Arrival through this office..
I need to plan my travel arrangements for getting to the Retreat Check-in.
All incoming students should plan to arrive on campus Monday morning, August 18th. Check in will be from 8:30 am until 10:30 am at the Office of Multicultural Programs (in Suite 425E of the Dobbs University Center), Atlanta, GA 30322.
At this time you will receive your keys and move your belongings into your permanent residence hall room. There will be NO time to unpack, as our buses will load and leave for the retreat site at 11:30am.
What do I need to bring to campus?
Participants should pack the items separate from those that will remain in the dorm. For more information on what to bring and what to not bring for residential hall facilities go to

The retreat website and brochure will include a list of what to bring for the retreat.
Can I move into my residence hall on Wednesday, August 20nd?
Yes, you can. You will already have the keys to your permanent room in the residence hall on Monday, August 18th. Upon return to campus from the FFA Retreat site on Wednesday, you will be given time to go to your room and unpack your luggage. You will receive more information at the website and any updates upon your arrival on Monday, August 18th.
Am I going to miss out on any regular orientation activities?
No, the Freshmen Crossroads Retreat ends on the night of Friday August 22nd. Orientation activities begin on Saturday August 23rd.
