MORE Mentees

Become a MORE Mentee! 

MORE Mentees are first-year undergraduates excited to the join the Emory community, foster relationships, and excel academically and socially.  They are open-minded individuals looking to meet other students and build relationships early into their Emory career.  The mentees are committed to learning about the support services and resources Emory has to offer.  As  a mentee you will learn about invaluable campus resources essential to your transition to Emory, develop meaningful relationships with people different from you, engage cross-culturally, and identify resources and spaces on campus that help support your personal identity.

Mentee Requirements and Expectations   

  • Be a first-year undergraduate student excited to the join the Emory community
  • Be willing to meet with your mentor face-to-face one hour once a week for the fall semester
  • Attend ALL MORE meetings during the fall semester; Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (*subject to change)
  • Attend ALL Family events  and programs

 Some of the activities MORE may host in the fall include:

  • Mini One Day Retreat
  • Field Day
  • Six Flags over Georgia trip
  • MORE Community Service project(s)
  • STUD Pageant
  • Trivia Night(s)
