INTRODUCTION:
REDOR ---- Rotational Echo Double Resonance
REDOR is a high resolution solid NMR experiment employing magic angle spinning and cross polarization to measure the distance between two select labeled heteronuclei, such as C13 - N15. C13-O17 in the molecule. It could provide us the information about protein structure of membrane, biomaterials and polymers that are not accessible with X-Ray, Liquid State NMR techniques.
REDOR experiment requires a three channel (HXY) solid state NMR spectrometer and a triple resonance probe (HXY).
