Warning: DO NOT force the tuning capacitors to turn past the end of their ranges! Force Turning can cause mechanical damage to the probe.

1. Make sure the upper barrel and probe mounting flange are installed and adjusted for the probe. The upper barrel should be seated against the room-temperature shim coil. Make a proper marker on the upper barrel and mounting plate for the probe.

2. Make sure to install ²H bandpass Filter: Here is their IDs

300MHz BE46-4-6BB; 400MHz BE61-10-8BB; 500MHz BE77-3.8-8BB; 600MHz BE95-12-8BB

3. Tuning the Probe:

4. Magnet Interface Box

1. Connect a band-pass notch filter to From Probe Lock J6002 on the Shimming Relay. Connect the filter to the LOCK connector on the probe.

2. Connect a low pass filter to From BB Probe J6001, on the Shimming Relay, and cable from the filter to the X-CHANNEL connector on the probe.

3. Connect a cable from J5102 Hi Bnd PreAmp to the PROTONconnector on the probe.

4. Connect the appropriate quarter wavelength cable between J5304 and J5305.

Magnet Leg

1. Connect the LK PROBE connector (P5202) to a band-pass notch filter, and then connect the filter to the LOCK connector on the probe.

2. Connect a cable from the 13C connector (J5302) on the left magnet leg to the XCHANNEL connector on the probe.

3. Connect the appropriate quarter-wavelength cable between J5304 and J5305 on the magnet leg,

4. Connect the decoupler cable (from the 1H connector J5102) to the PROTON connector on the probe.

Magnet Leg

1. Connect the LK PROBE connector (P5202) to a band-pass notch filter, and then connect the filter to the LOCK connector on the probe.

2. Connect a cable from the 13C connector (J5302) on the left magnet leg to the XCHANNEL connector on the probe.

3. Connect the appropriate quarter-wavelength cable between J5304 and J5305 on the magnet leg,
