OIEE Application Deadline, Summer Workshop 2012

April 20, 2012

The application deadline for this year's OIEE Summer Workshop is April 20, 2012.  The application is available online and

must be accompanied by a refundable deposit of $50 (made by check). 

We will begin reviewing applications immediately following the deadline and will notify applicants of their status in early May.

OIEE Summer Workshop

June 4-15, 2012

Oxford College of Emory University

This year's workshop will be held weekdays from June 4-15, from 9am to 3pm.  Participants will receive 6 PLU credit hours for completion, as well as a $100 stipend and a $200 schoolyard grant.  The application is available on our website and must be accompanied by a $50 refundable deposit.

Advanced Training for Environmental Education in Georgia (ATEEG) is a certification program for environmental educators (nonformal and formal) based on NAAEE Guidelines for Excellence that is being offered by EEA.

The program is a 3-part process consisting of coursework, specialization workshops, and independent study.

The coursework component requires participation in three core courses.

Core Course I (Foundations of Environmental Education) will be offered January 13-15, 2012 at DNR’s Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center in Mansfield, Georgia. The course will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday and adjourn at noon on Sunday.
