AOL USERS
PLEASE READ! |
Some ISP's such as AOL do not assign you an IP (address) for the duration of your internet connection, and this means during an internet session your IP can constantly change, our forum ties its login sessions to an IP and therefore a changing IP can lead to issues such as being logged out or invalid session errors on posting. A possible fix for this:
- In your AOL Internet settings, be sure that you uncheck "Optimize web browsing using topspeed technology"
- Also make sure that when you are logging on to the board, you check the box beside "log me on automatically after each visit"
Note that the same "hanging ISP" problems might occur if you are using Google Web Accelerator. |

You registered but
cannot log in |
The final step in the registration process is to wait until you receive a confirmation notice in your email that we have approved your membership. |
| |
|
| You did not receive a confirmation-email |
That is most likely because you have a spam filter that prevents mail from our board reaching you. You will need to set your filter so that you can receive mail from "emory.edu". |
