Georgia Schools from K to 12 Apply to Win a Free Energy Audit Full of Money Saving Ideas!
Assistance on how to achieve the ENERGY STAR label will be provided to the first five schools who apply and all schools will receive info on low- and no-cost energy-conserving strategies that save $$$ and will have an opportunity to be recognized by the state’s energy division. Environmental Education Grants
The Grants Program sponsored by EPA's Environmental Education Division (EED), Office of Children's Health Protection and Environmental Education, suppoprts environmental education projects that enhance the public's awareness, knowledge, and skills to help people make informed decisions that affect environmental quality. EPA awards grants each year based on funding appropriated by Congress. Annual funding for the program ranges betweeen $2 and $3 million. More than 75 percent of the grants awarded by this program receive less than $15,000.

EEA Mini-Dragonfly Grant
The Environmental Education Alliance (EEA) of Georgia is proud to offer mini-grant awards for up to $1,000 for Environmental Education/Performing and Visual Arts projects. This new grant honors an incredible environmental educator, Petey Giroux (1945-2008). Petey was a master at using the power of the performing and visual arts to support her teaching, bringing much joy and enthusiasm to her work. Georgia educators of K-12th grade students (including those in public and private schools, home schools, scout troops, religious groups, community organizations, 4-H Clubs, etc.) are eligible.
