The Pediatric Executive Program
was established in 2005 to help develop, exercise, and
strengthen individual leadership within the Department
of Pediatrics and to foster collegiality and teamwork
as we strive to realize our vision and mission.
The broad curriculum offers physicians, researchers, educators, and administrators a first hand
opportunity to learn the basics of the business of medicine and leadership skills. The Pediatric
Executive Program is a spinoff of the
Woodruff Leadership Academy created by Dr. Michael Johns in 2003.
