Summary: IR compiled an inventory in 1999 of scholarly projects connected to greater Atlanta and other Georgia communities and asked faculty to describe their projects and some of the rewards and challenges of their work. A brochure titled "Scholarship in Atlanta" that presents some key findings of our report and was be sent to faculty in 2001. A growing database of Emory scholarship based in the community is also now maintained by the Office of University-Community Partnerships.
