Charlotte S. Johnson joined the Provost’s Office in July 1998.  She directs the development and administration of the University’s unrestricted operating budget of $600 million and manages the University Budget Office.  In addition she consults with academic and service units on budgetary and organizational needs including the allocation of space related to academic matters.

Johnson started her career at Emory in 1976.  She has held a series of positions with a wide range of assignments and has had experience at the school level as well as in central administration.  At the central level, her responsibilities have included operating and capital budget planning, implementation and review of budgets, investing operating cash, endowment reporting, developing fiscal and organizational policy recommendations for senior management, maintaining relationships with peer institutions, and participating in various university committees .Read more >
