There is one university award given to a member of the faculty at graduation each year: The United Methodist Church Award for the University Scholar/Teacher. In addition, the Thomas Jefferson Award is given at graduation to a member of the university community, often a member of the faculty. The Emory Williams Award for distinguished teaching is given at graduation to three members of the College faculty, one member of the Oxford faculty, one member of the faculty of the School of Nursing, one member of the faculty of the school of Business and one member of the graduate and professional faculties. These awards are given at the diploma ceremonies of the respective schools.
The Faculty Awards and Honors page is a list of faculty achievements both nationally and internationally, alphabetically listed and segmented by categories.
