A Special Issue from New Directions for Teaching and Learning


UACT consists of representatives from each school in the university, as well as representatives from the Center for Teaching and Curriculum (CTC) and the University Teaching Fund (UTF). Our goal is to provide faculty, administrators,
and graduate student instructors with a comprehensive view of teaching at Emory, both in and of itself and within the larger context of the ideals and activities of a modern research university.


 

The University Advisory Council on Teaching is no longer an active committee. The Provost’s Office is currently implementing a new Center for Faculty Development and Excellence, which will incorporate many of the teaching resources and teacher-training materials offered in previous years by UACT and other university-wide teaching programs. Please check back to this website in Spring 2008 for an update on the new Center.
