F. MacMillan Law Library
The MacMillan
Law Library holds approximately 360,000 volumes and over 5,500
serial subscriptions, and is a selective depository for U.S.
Government Documents and a full depository for publications
of the European Union. The Law Library also provides Law School
students, faculty, and staff access to a number of electronic
resources, via campus Ethernet, including LEXIS, Westlaw, e-mail,
and the Internet. The library features state-of-the-art technology
including an electronic classroom which has 12 Pentium computers
connected to high-speed laser printers. The classroom is equipped
with a multi-media projection system which is used to train
law students in the use of electronic services.
Professors are appointed a librarian liaison to facilitate delivery
of library services: interlibrary loan; book orders; help with
the online catalog; or suggestions of current awareness databases
on intellectual property. Librarian liaisons will also work
with research assistants to help faculty meet research needs.
