Mission Statement:

The mission for the women's health service at EUSHS is to provide comprehensive, innovative, quality health care in an integrated, multidisciplinary setting.  We strive to set a new standard for students by inspiring collaboration with the student to produce comprehensive wellness.

APPOINTMENT NO SHOW POLICY

Appointments in our Emory University Student Health Services (EUSHS) Women's Health clinics are highly sought after by students.  When a patient schedules an appointment and does not keep it, he/she is denying another student access to that specialty service, woman’s annual exam or physical exam.  In addition, EUSHS pays the faculty Gynecologist whether patients show up for appointments or not.

Therefore, EUSHS will charge students for no show Women's Health appointments as follows:

      • Colposcopy/Gynecologist Consultant  $50.00
      • Women’s Annual Exams/Physical Exams   $15.00

In order to avoid a no show charge, the student must cancel the appointment at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.  Please call (404) 727-7551 and select Option 1 (day or night) to cancel your appointment.  In addition, students who have three or more no show appointments may be excluded from future appointments at these specialty clinics.  We thank you for your cooperation and for your consideration of your fellow Emory students.
