In addition to helping students get to class on time, the clock tower at Cox Hall is also a distinctive symbol of one of Emory's most popular community gathering spots. The three-story building includes a large food court and dining area on the first floor, whose informal atmosphere invites discussion and interaction between a variety of Emory community members, including students, faculty, staff and Emory Hospital employees. Other Cox Hall amenities include a state-of-the-art computing facility on the second floor and attractive banquet/conference rooms on the third floor.
