Patient Care at Emory-affiliated hospitals and the Emory Clinic

The Emory University System of health care, comprising Emory University Hospital, Crawford Long Hospital of Emory University, and the Emory Clinic, provides a third of all patient care to Atlanta's 2.5 million people. Emory physicians provide a major portion of all patient care in Atlanta, with responsibility for 2,500 hospital beds in six Atlanta hospitals, more than two million inpatient and outpatient visits, and almost half a million emergency room visits annually. To fulfill Emory's growing commitment to community-based health care, the system of health care has begun affiliations with more than a dozen community hospitals.
