Scientists in Emory's Woodruff Health Sciences Center are conducting
promising research in problems ranging from cancer, Alzheimer's, and
heart disease to vaccines, transplantation, and addiction.
Partnerships with the Georgia Research Alliance and the Georgia
Cancer Coalition attract leading scientists to the state, fostering
collaborations among area universities, government, and industry to
translate discoveries rapidly from the laboratory into treatments for
patient care.
