No special background is needed. Current courses include:

The Gospel of Luke, Walter T. Wilson, assistant professor of New Testament. The course explores Luke as a spiritual resource. Topics include the Holy Spirit, prayer, worship, forgiveness, humility, suffering, stewardship and Luke's portrayal of Jesus. 7:30-9:30 p.m., six consecutive Tuesdays, Feb. 23-March 30, Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Rd., NW, Atlanta.

Images of Christ in World Christianity, M. Thomas Thangaraj, D.W. and Ruth Brooks Associate Professor of World Christianity. The course uses paintings, sculptures, film, poems, hymns and theological writings to examine the plurality of images of Christ in the world. 7-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 23-24, Druid Hills United Methodist Church, 1200 Ponce de Leon Ave., NE, Atlanta.
