Speak At Emory
Connie Willis is the winner of seven Hugo and six Nebula awards, more than any other science fiction author. In 1999 she was named science fiction author of the decade by Locus magazine. She received her most recent Hugo in September for her novella, "The Winds of Marble Arch." A reception and book signing will follow Willis' reading. Then on
Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m., Willis will hold a colloquium to discuss
her work, also in the Jones Room. Both events are free and open to the
public. For more information, call the Emory Womens Center at
404-727-2001. Visitor parking is available in the Fishburne and Bo Jones
visitor parking. To see a map of campus, go on-line to www.emory.edu/MAP/. Return to Arts & Humanities Releases Return to Public Events Calendars |
