		Emory's mission is not contained within classroom walls. The partnership between Emory and Atlanta is vitally important to both parties.
		Thousands of Emory faculty, staff, and students work with local organizations on hundreds of community-service projects. Summer trips for students that combine community service and learning in international settings are a tradition of the Office of Religious Life. "Reducing Caregiver Burden in Alzheimer's Population" is an example of Senior Innovative Project at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. It requires all students to identify a health care need in Atlanta that would benefit from health teaching and then develop and implement a project to address the need.
