Don Saliers -- Emory's Parker Professor of Theology and Worship and winner of a University Scholar/Teacher Award in 199 -- knows the best way to teach his Master of Sacred Music students is to let them hear the subject matter. He also creates his own CD-ROM materials to help students understand both visually and acoustically the phenomenology of worship space, as well as the history of images, of architectural design, and of music. "Liturgy has always been multimedia," he says.
