The HSCL Liaison Program

The mission of the Liaison Program is to facilitate a partnership between the Library and the schools and programs it serves in order to support learning, research and clinical care. our goals are:

  • To assist the library in selecting new library resources and in determining which resources are no longer needed (e.g. journal cancellations)
  • To promote the use of library resources and services, especially digital resources
  • To provide additional opportunities for educating faculty, students and staff on the use of library resources and services, especially digital resources
  • To assist the library in gathering data regarding present and future information needs of the faculty, students and staff throughout the health sciences center
  • To facilitate a partnership between the library and the schools and programs it serves to support teaching, research and clinical care.

To take advantage of our liaison services, please contact the librarian who has been designated to serve the faculty, students, and staff of your department.

Departments interested in this opportunity should have their chair contact Kathy Torrente, Head Reference and Instructional Services (404-727-0301 or libkjt@emory.edu).
