Librarian
The Health Sciences Center Library Reference Librarians welcome questions from Emory
students, staff and faculty and from non-Emory visitors to this page. Anyone
asking questions about a disease, medical condition or other health concerns
should be aware that the Reference Librarians can only provide brief information
obtained from reference materials and suggest additional sources or web sites to
consult for further information. We can not provide any medical advice such as
diagnoses or treatment recommendations. For those questions, please consult a

Messages sent to Ask the Reference Librarian will be read during the following
times:
Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 8 PM (EST)
Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Saturday, 11 AM - 5 PM
Sunday, 12 PM - 6 PM
Questions will be answered or
acknowledged as promptly as possible. Excluding holidays and weekends, the
maximum turnaround time is usually no longer than one business day. If you
desire a more immediate response, we recommend that you call the Health Sciences
Center Library Information Desk at 404-727-8727.
