Are Emory classes tough and rigorous or laid back?
EMORY STUDENT
This really depends on the class. Some classes are harder than others, but this is a very individual thing depending on what you're good at. In general though, the classes at Emory are both rigorous and laid back. This may seem contradictory, but it's not. The courses are fast-passed and the students are very talented and competitive. But the atmosphere among the students and teachers is fairly relaxed - students are willing to work with each other and help each other, and Emory's teachers are very accommodating to students learning styles and needs.
