In addition to expecting the best education, at Emory you also should expect the unexpected. Because our curriculum is flexible, you have the opportunity to explore disciplines in which you’ve always been interested, and to discover new ones. You may even change your mind, because sometimes learning means changing and growing.
Some of our students come to Emory with a course of study in mind and stick with it all the way through. Some come to study medicine and end up a music major instead. And that’s okay. Education is a process. By the time you leave Emory, if you’ve gotten the most out of your time here, you’ll see how disciplines connect and overlap, how your varied interests feed and complement each other. Usually there’s not one discipline that speaks to all of your dreams; that’s why so many Emory students graduate with double majors. In your studies, as in life, there is more than one right answer.
